Professional Role
Gill is the student learning advisor for LUMS and works with students on a range of study issues. Her aim is to help students in LUMS develop as independent and effective learners.
She offers regular drop-in sessions, runs workshops and courses, and provides one-to-one tutorials for students who are referred by their department, tutor, college, LUSU or Student Based Services.
Gill works with Michaela Edwards to co-ordinate the Part I Transition Guide Scheme and also runs the LUMS Academic Writing Zone with Dr Kathy Pitt.
