UK-China Workshop on Disruptive Low-Carbon Innovation

November 20-21, 2009 in Hangzhou, China

The College of Public Administration, Zhejiang University and the Centre for Mobilities Research, Lancaster University together held a workshop to bring together policy-makers, business managers, scholars and NGOs from both China and overseas, particularly the UK, to discuss disruptive low-carbon innovation, towards concrete, positive practical steps.

Themes

The aim of the workshop is two-fold:

  1. To discuss concrete examples of effective low-carbon innovation in China and the UK for practical guidance to policy-makers and innovators;
  2. To explore in detail the opportunities and policy-implications of current low-carbon innovation capacity in China, including regarding international collaboration.
