A/AS-levels: AAB including Mathematics or Further Mathematics at grade A.
General Studies: Accepted as one of 3 A-levels
GCSE: Maths (minimum grade B), and English Language (grade B/C)
Scottish Highers: ABBBB plus Grade A at Advanced Higher Maths

International Bacc: 34 points overall with 16 points from the best 3 HL subjects, inc 6 in HL Maths

First Year
AcF 100, Econ 100 and MATH 100
Other Years
Second year: AC.F 211, AC.F 212, AC.F 213, AC.F 214 (all half-unit courses). For professional exemption you must take the following courses in Maths: Math 220, Math 230 and Math 235.
Third year: Four third-year half-unit courses, choosing two per term (M and L). Must include AC.F 301 and 311. This is acceptable to replace one of the AcF half-units by Law 217.
For second and third year, eight Maths half-units are required in total.

The BSc (Hons) Accounting, Finance and Mathematics degree aims to develop the skills required for the study and practice of Accounting, Finance and Mathematics, including strong quantitative and analytical skills, and provides an understanding of how advanced mathematical and statistical techniques can be applied in professional working contexts, particularly in the field of Finance. The degree provides a strong basis for a future career in accountancy, management and finance related fields of work where skills in both subject areas could be utilised. The key elements of accounting and finance are studied, including provision and analysis of information for external and internal reporting, investor decision-making and market analysis. In addition, the core elements of Mathematics are studied including calculus, probability and statistics.
Assessment
The assessment of this degree is on the basis of eight units (sixteen half-units) of assessment.
