Overview
This course continues the development of intermediate microeconomic analysis from Econ 220. Topics include analysis of monopoly behaviour and regulation, price and quantity setting in duopoly markets, introduction to game theory and strategic behaviour by firms, auctions (including a study of eBay) and general equilibrium and welfare economics. This course is normally taken in conjunction with Econ 220.
NB: this course cannot be taken with Econ 207 and/or Econ 208.

The final mark for the course is calculated as the highest of either 1/3 Coursework and 2/3 Exam or 2/3 Coursework and 1/3 Exam.
