  • Develops key skills for employability

As a graduate entering the management world you will be tasked with managing projects. This may be managing an event, opening a new store, improving an airline’s baggage handling, developing a company’s ‘second life’ presence, deploying aid overseas, or managing a stand at a festival, or even managing the festival itself.

Managing projects places you at the centre of excitement within a company and places direct responsibility on you to ensure project success. As a project manager you will be self motivated, multi-tasking, quick witted, and people orientated. Management jobs can have limited outcomes; projects allow you to take control, supply end products and provide you with the satisfaction of a completed task. From start to finish a project can be your baby.

The LUMS Project Management degree is designed to equip you precisely with the skills to enter a managerial role confident that you can attain, on the ground, project results.
