You may have just started in the Management School or be completing your second or final year of study, but whatever your circumstances there are lots of opportunities available to you to ensure you will be able to make informed decisions about your future and become equipped to succeed in a highly competitive graduate labour market.
The courses and events planned have been designed specially for Management School students. They are all interactive, fun and informative and more importantly, they are about your future development. The courses complement the subject-specific knowledge you will gain from your main programme of study and will help you further develop your skills in reflective thinking, self awareness, career planning, problem solving, creativity, team working, commercial awareness and communication - all skills highly prized by graduate employers.
Employability and Careers Resource Room
The Management School Employability, Enterprise and Careers Resources Room located in A23 (opposite the undergraduate study area) has lots of information about careers for Management School students, vacancy lists, opportunities for work experience, and quiet areas with PCs on which you can complete psychometric tests and application forms. Drop in any time and use the facilities.
Employability Advice Clinic
Come along for help with your CV, covering letter, application form, or query about psychometric tests, interviews etc.
No need to book, just drop in (term time only)
